What is project. amsterdam?

Ten innovative companies, ten future-shaping projects, one world-leading tech scene.

project.amsterdam (project: a for short) is a unique opportunity for international and local talent to become part of Amsterdam’s thriving tech scene. Apply for once-in-a-lifetime job vacancies at some of the city’s most exciting tech companies, and help define what’s next for the ICT industry.

So you’re a highly skilled tech worker, a problem solver. You’ve mostly enjoyed your career so far; you’ve learned a lot and put your skills to the test, but you need a change.
project: a is your opportunity to take the natural next step in your tech career, by becoming part of one of the world’s leading tech hubs: Amsterdam, a city that prides itself on its liveability, connectivity and tech savviness.

As part of project: a, 10 awesome Amsterdam-based companies came to us with 10 ground-breaking projects – everything from disrupting FinTech to future-shaping AI. But here’s the thing: to achieve their projects’ lofty goals, the companies need a helping hand from best-of-the-best tech pros: software engineers, data analysts, PHP developers, data engineers and other ICT experts. That’s you.

project: a invites you – yes, you – to apply for these sought-after job vacancies at some of Amsterdam’s most exciting tech companies: Adyen, BTC.com, Dimebox, Effectory, Elsevier, Flow Traders, Mollie Payments, Optiver, Picnic and Takeaway.com. These companies have been dominating headlines with their tech-based achievements, and every one of their projects will be music to the ears of any tech professional looking for a career-defining challenge. Naturally, applicants must have an acumen for coding or data science – or both, of course.

Following our selection process, all the applications will be narrowed down to just 10 candidates. These lucky devils will be flown into Amsterdam for a week in May. During this time, they’ll get acquainted with the city’s tech scene, attend one of the biggest tech conferences in Europe, The Next Web, as a special guest and – of course – take part in an interview with their preferred employers.

That sounds expensive, we hear you thinking. Nope. Flights and accommodation are on us.

Sound interesting? Of course, it does. If you tick all the right boxes, apply!

The deadline is 15 April 2018, so apply before then to avoid disappointment.

Apply now!
